Your wellness goes way beyond not being sick or having a health problem. If you are dissatisfied with your life, or an area of your life, that is actually a good thing!

Why?

Because your dissatisfaction is showing you that you know you can be more. It grows from your knowing that you could be living a more balanced and meaningful life.

Our wellness coaching packages are for you if:

  • You are not currently satisfied with your life or an area of your life
  • You know whatever you are doing isn’t working and something needs to change
  • You feel like you have lost balance in life but don’t know how to regain balance
  • You aren’t sick or unwell but you want to feel better and experience higher levels of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing
  • Your life is going great in some areas but other areas are dragging you down
  • You know you are not realising your potential
How it works?

Wellness coaching typically starts with an initial 2 hour coaching session, either face to face or via online video conferencing (Zoom or Skype.

Your coach will listen carefully to you to get acquainted with:

  • Your current situation
  • Your goals, ambitions and desired outcomes
  • Your current resources
  • Your strengths
  • Your overall life balance

Your coach will then work with your to develop your individualised Wellness Plan and the most strategic and appropriate adjustments that you need to make to create the improvements to your life that you are looking for.

You will typically leave the first coaching session with a clear plan for what you need to do to start living your life at a high level of wellness as well as some immediate action steps to start implementing the plan.

This is then followed by regular coaching sessions held approximately once a week (though this can vary depending on your needs). These sessions are a dynamic process but typically involve a check in on your wins and successes since the last session as well exploration around how well agree actions went for you.

Clear wellness goals are created and the specific behavioural changes required to achieve those goals are identified and strategies are then put in place based on the clients strengths, motives and life situation. The coach can also offer an important extra layer of accountability that really helps a client  stay committed to their success.

Over time the coach supports and guides you to both tweak and implement your wellness plan and to ensure you achieve your goals, celebrating your success along the way with you.

What Coaching Option should I choose?

Single Session:

A one off session may suit your needs best if:

  • You are familiar with coaching and just want to brainstorm or some laser coaching on a very specific topic to gain clarity or you are stuck and need help making the breakthrough you are looking for then a single session may be appropriate.

If you are not confident you will have the motivation, self direction and accountability to follow through with any actions and changes needed from a single session then a coaching package is recommended.

4 Session Package:

A 4 session package may suit your needs best if:

  • You are familiar with coaching and have something you want coaching on for a short period. You are confident you have the motivation, self direction and accountability to follow through with any actions and changes needed arising from the coaching.
  • You want to try out coaching and are looking for ongoing support and guidance but you are not yet ready to commit to a long term coaching relationship.
  • You are ready to invest in the coaching but want to see how things are going after a month
  • You have a hunch this is the right coach for you and want to give the coaching a try without committing to a longer relationship
  • Financially this is the best fit for you right now

6 Session Package:

A 6 session package may suit your needs best if:

  • You are ambitious and you want results
  • You are not looking for a quick-fix and want to set yourself up for success long term.
  • You are ready to invest in your wellness and are ready to commit to a process of change for at least 2 months
  • You accept that creating lasting lifestyle change takes time and effort and want a powerful ally to guide and support you through the change process
What to expect from your coach?

When you work with a DYLC coach your specific needs and situation will always be at the forefront of the coaching. The coach’s job is to work hard to find out what is best for your current situation and to help you integrate individualised action steps and strategies that will work for you.

The coach does not try and impose a plan onto you and instead works with you to create a plan that is appropriate for your needs at this time.

We see you as being the expert in your life and therefore we do not feel qualified to tell you what to do. Our aim is to combine our expertise in stress and behavioural change and to work with you to create the most effective plan that can be integrated into your lifestyle with the most ease

What not to expect from your coach?

You will not be simply told what to do!

You will not be given generic advice that is not appropriate to you

You will not be given a generic stress management protocol that may or may not suit your individual needs or requirements.

After hitting a very turbulent part of my life, I decided I needed to make some changes. I was unsure what i needed to do and how to do it. I was getting mixed advice from different people which made it harder to make a decision about what I needed to do.
